Ironside

The aesthetic of a new office for Ironside reflects the bespoke, refined approach the boutique development company embody in their own work, designed by Brahman Perera.

The desire to create warmth and approachability drove a tactile exploration of materials, establishing a workplace with a residential feel. Luxurious natural stones sit in harmony with the site’s raw material profiles. Striking colour combinations build a unique and contemporary identity for the company, while maintaining a sense of restraint.

Circular Blade tables by Thinking Works, combined with Catifa 53 chairs with line stitch detail in leather by Arper provide agile work points, easily reconfigured based on client and team requirements. A formal boardroom framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, again utilises the Blade Table with Catifa 53 chairs combination for a cohesive and professional aesthetic.

Adapt Curve by Ross Gardam in a rich Merlot colour with Ross Gardam Universal table, doubles as a lobby area and collaborative space for Ironside employees.

The interior utilises the industrial character of the South Melbourne site, softened by the choice of finishes and upholstery in furniture selections.
